We are looking forward to see Henrik Merkelsen & Rasmus Kjærgaard Rasmussen “Post-colonial governance through securitization? A deep narratological analysis of securitization and de-securitization moves in contemporary Danish and Greenlandic uranium policy” and Marc Jacobsen & Jeppe Strandsbjerg “Desecuritisation's Displacement of Controversy: geopolitics, law and sovereign rights in the Arctic".

At a meeting in the Nordic Committee for Historians in August in Finland, it was finally decided that the 29th Congress of Nordic Historians will take place in Aalborg from 15-18 August 2017.

Unprecedented and sustained tourism growth has transformed many cities across Europe while rural and regional areas remain unsure how they can better leverage the massive growth at their doorstep. The tourism industry is undergoing restructuring, new stakeholders are emerging, landscapes of power are shifting, and lines of responsibilities are being redrawn.
