The University of Edinburgh Business School is delighted to host the sixth international conference on child and teen consumption. This conference aims to generate insights into the experiences and challenges of child and teen consumption by fostering dialogue between academics from different disciplines and between academics, practitioners and policy-makers examining children and young people’s lives through the lens of consumption.

We are happy to welcome consumer researchers from a broad scope of disciplines to participate in the 3rd Nordic Conference on Consumer Research held on 21st-22nd May 2014 in Vaasa, Finland. Reserve the dates already now and be prepared to submit in early 2014!
The conference sheds light on the theoretical and methodological pluralism that the Nordic Consumer Research encompasses. Conference themes will cover a variety of perspectives, such as Experimental research, Interpretative studies, Transformative consumer research, Consumption sosiology, Consumer psychological studies, CCT, and Practice theory. Final sessions will be constructed based on Session Proposals.
In 2014, the Consumer Culture Theory conference will be held in the white nights of Helsinki, Finland.
Entering its 9th year, the annual CCT Conference is a premier venue for consumer culture researchers from all academic disciplines to share their ideas, empirical insights, and theoretical interests in an engaging, invigorating, and cutting edge forum.
