This PhD project investigates the various sustainability narratives which relates to Inuit seal hunting in Greenland. Placed in and by the contemporary sealskin disputes and international anti-sealing pressures, the project relates kalaallit (Greenlandic) seal hunting to questions of Indigenous knowledge and alternative narratives, coloniality and decolonization.
