Georgia: a small state with a troubled past and a troubled neighborhood

Invitation to guest lecture by Mr. Gigi Giadze on ‘Security Policy Challenges in the Eastern Europe´. Open for all students at AAU

Time

17.10.2018 kl. 14.30 - 16.15

Description

A hundred years ago, Georgia re-gained independence for a short time. This year it celebrates the 100th anniversary for that. Its ambassador to Denmark, Mr. Gigi Giadze, offers a guest lecture on ‘Security Policy Challenges in the Eastern Europe´. How is it to be a small state, ‘released’ from the Soviet Union, having a somewhat strained relationship to the great power Russia? That is what we will hear about.
