CGS project receives a World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates Award

World summit of Nobel Peace Laureates Award to UNESCO-project led by professor MSO Poul Duedahl

The Global History of UNESCO Project, led by professor MSO Poul Duedahl, has been awarded a World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates Award of DKK 35,000 and an invitation to present UNESCO’s 70 years of peace making for new and former recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize.

The presentation will include both a documentary film and a speech and will take place at the next annual World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates in Atlanta, USA, in November 2015.

Former Soviet President and Nobel Peace laureate Mikhael Gorbachev is the initiator and chair of the summit.

Research coordinator, professor Poul Duedahl (Denmark), professor Aigul Kulnazarova (Japan) and Associate Professor Michelle Brattian (United States), who are all involved in the research project, will attend the summit.
