As of 1 November 2016, I have been employed as assistant professor in German language and business communication.
I hold a PhD degree in German linguistics from Aarhus University (2014), where I was subsequently employed as a part-time lecturer. Most recently, I have worked as an upper secondary teacher and received my diploma in education.
My previous scientific work is in the field of language change and variation, and my main contribution to this area is the book "Von der Phonologie in die Morphologie. Diachrone Studien zur Präposition-Artikel-Enklise im Deutschen” (Georg Olms Verlag, 2016).
My primary research area at Aalborg University will be contrastive linguistics focusing on the language pair German-Danish.
